Physiotherapy

Kinetoterapia is defined as a complex of methods that use movement for therapeutic purposes:

  • motion is aimed at restoring some diminished functions or increasing the functional level for various pains.
  • by translation, the term „physiotherapy" means motion therapy and represents a type of medical gymnastics that has some well-established objectives.

General Objectives of Physiotherapy:

  • Correcting posture and body alignment;
  • Increased joint mobility;
  • Increase in muscle strength;
  • Coordination, control and balance;
  • Respiratory re-education;
  • Muscle relaxation.

At the Saint Nectarios Recovery Center in Oradea, a physiotherapy session lasts 50 minutes. The parent's contribution for a meeting is 4.5 euros. The whole cost of the meeting is 10 euros, but 5.5 euros is the cost sponsored by Mihai Neşu Foundation. We note that the St. Nectarios Recovery Center can only provide long-term, weekly, subscription-based therapies, the purpose of the foundation being to help children with disabilities and track their long-term development.
